Tumbler ReUse: Key Lime Pie

We put together a quick and easy guide with steps you can follow to re-use any candle glass, and now we're sharing some fun things to do with your new collection of tumblers.

This month’s Tumbler ReUse was inspired by one of my favorite summer desserts: key lime pie.

Sweet, tart, and creamy, this version should satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. Quick and easy, this take on key lime pie contain all the components minus the egg yolk, and there’s no baking required. You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 4-6 Whole graham crackers or Biscoff cookies
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 limes (key lime juice if you can find it!)
  • 4 lime zest
  • Whipped Cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbs melted butter

To make the filling, use an electric mixer to combine the condensed milk, cream cheese, lime juice, lime zest until blended, then refrigerate for about 2-3 hours.  Pulse graham crackers in a food processor until fine crumbs, then pour in melted butter pulsing the mixture several more times. Grab your tumblers and layer with crumbled graham crackers, key lime filling, until you reach the top. Finish with whipped cream.

This citrusy dessert was refreshingly tart, incredibly simple to make, and perfect if you’re hosting a party. Happy eating!

Yours,

Yasmine from Keap
