Key Notes
Wild Figs: A complex scent combining ripe fruitiness, milky sweetness and green bitterness.
Fig Leaves: Green, slightly bitter note, with a unique scent that brings to mind earth dust, shadow and foliage.
Rockrose (Labdanum): Deep, powerful, leathery and ambery note derived from the rockrose.
Blackcurrant: Berry fruit with a rich, tannic feel, also providing a touch of honey-ness.
Blackberry: A tangy but shy fruity note with a hint of cat smell, adds a little sparkle.
Hawthorn: This hazy floral, when combined with the fruity notes, adds a sensual facet to the scent.

Candle Burning Tips
Following your first burn, each time you use your candle, trim the wick to 3⁄8” (about the width of your pinky finger) before you light it. This helps ensure a smaller, safer flame and less soot.
Each time you burn your candle, burn it for 2-3 hours. This will not only maximize the fragrance throw, but also help avoid "tunneling," where the candle burns down the middle, leaving wax around the edges.
For safety reasons:
▶ Don’t burn your candle when less than a 1/2” of wax remains.
▶ Never leave a burning candle unattended!

Your candles are awesome — I purchase a LOT of candles (embarrassingly) and have leaned towards Diptyque and Trudon for their complex smells and LAFCO for their lovely vessels. I tried your company on a whim as I read about it from another candle lover in a luxury candle Reddit thread. I really enjoyed my Wild Fig candle — the vessel is fine, the scent is amazing, and the burn is even with a nice strong hot throw.
I loved it enough to sign up for a subscription as I am excited to receive the February scent.
Then I read the email on how hard your company is trying to do good and the commitment you have made from your scent perspective, which prompted me to read into your small business model, and I love it. What's a gift-boxed candle?

A gift-boxed Keap candle comes with a beautiful black gift-box, and inside you'll find a candle (phew!), a coaster/dust cover, matchbox*, and an informational insert.
*Please note that matchboxes can only be included in Ground shipments. If you choose an expedited shipping option at checkout (Air or Priority), the matches will be excluded from your order.
Can I include a gift note?

Absolutely. In the cart there is a field to enter a personal gift note. We hand-write every gift note on a card and include it alongside your gift.
Can a gift receipt be included instead of the price?

If you order 8 or more candles through our website, shipping is free! For smaller one-off orders, we do not offer free shipping.
However, subscribers do receive free shipping on all subscription orders (i.e. orders placed through the subscriber portal), so you can order Wood Cabin and Lavender + Petals through the portal year-round, and you can order this month's Seasonal Scent through the portal anytime before the change of the month.
