5 Sweet Updates to Kick Off The Year

And exciting things to look forward to

#1 - Tomorrow: Last Jono Pandolfi collaboration ceramic candles

Tomorrow we’ll be offering our last remaining JPD x Keap candles at a reduced price.

Each hand-thrown vessel is slightly different and unique—and designed to be your go-to coffee mug once your candle is done.

Look out in your inbox tomorrow around 8AM EST for the official announcement.

#2 - Mini-doc!

We are blessed with such a talented, creative community. I am very excited to share that our longtime subscriber and award-winning filmmaker Alyse Shorland has been working on a short mini documentary about the Keap studio.

The first cuts look beautiful and I can’t wait to share the final product with you all!

#3 - Wirecutter’s favorite candle

In case you missed the announcement before the holidays, we had some huge news: New York Times’ Wirecutter has put us at the very top of their Best Candles guide.

There was so much serendipity that went into this happening—but also a decade of support and advocacy from all of you that created the conditions for this happen. Thank you!

#4 - New scents!

We are currently finalizing our next scent which will launch this spring! While our last creation Tanoh Dawn evoked eucalyptus without actually containing any, this one will center a wonderful eucalyptus extract that we’ve been wanting to feature for a long time.

Later this year we’ll be sharing with you something completely different... but I can’t say too much about that just yet.

By the way, if you’re a Keap subscriber and would like to give feedback on our scents before we launch, we have a few spots open on our Keaper Lab. Just reply to this email if you are interested.

5 - We’re hiring

We are excited to hire two new full-time on-site (in Kingston, NY) junior positions: Marketing & Storytelling Associate and Partnerships & Community Associate.

If you know someone who might be a good fit, please forward this to them! We’ll also be opening a full-time production position later this month.

As always, I love to hear any thoughts or feedback you have. Simply send a reply.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead,
— Harry from Keap, Steward-Owner

More on this topic

If you enjoyed this article, you might enjoy our not-quite-weekly free newsletter where we share our lessons on our journey toward our regenerative vision, product launches, and behind-the-scenes happenings.

We left social media in 2021 because we found its current mechanics didn’t align with our purpose to facilitate connection to the natural world, our loved ones, and our own spirits. Since then, our newsletter has become a vibrant place for healthy conversation around topics ranging from alternative business ownership models to happy hour cocktail recipes.

Join our free newsletter to be the first to hear about newly available scented candles, special events, and more.

What our readers say about it

“It’s very thoughtful and not sales-y like all other marketing newsletters.”

“I like reading how a business is trying to be as progressive as possible in a capitalist system.”

“I normally delete emails from businesses but with the Keap newsletter I was actually interested in reading through! Made me feel that you guys really care about us and the work you do."
