We’ve experienced a boom in orders over the past couple months, thanks to some wonderful press (see the bottom of this email for the most surprising of the lot!). That has come with some growing pains—scroll down for more about that.
Can You Run a Successful Business Without Social Media in 2026?
That’s a theme across two new podcast episodes I was blessed to participate in. (Spoiler alert: In our sixth year off social media, based on how busy we are right now, we feel that the answer is a strong yes!)
Off The Grid
You may have seen me shout out previously the great work of Amelia Hruby. Her Off The Grid podcast has become a home for a constellation of creative folks looking to operate without relying on attention-mining platforms. (By the way, her short book/manifesto is a great place to start if you are a business owner dreaming of operating without social media.)
I was humbled and grateful to join as a guest for a fun conversation delving into:
- How and why we started Keap
- Keap’s Hospitality DNA
- Big ideas for a more humane version of the Internet
- and much more!
Post-Social Panel on Cultures Within Capitalism
Back in September, Keap co-hosted a panel for creative entrepreneurs curious about getting their businesses off social media.
We had an energizing conversation that fired up the audience, and I left feeling very hopeful. Now that (extremely well-edited) conversation is available to listen for free on the podcast Cultures w/n Capitalism. Big thanks again to everyone who showed up and made this event a reality!
Have you been thinking about getting your business (or your employer’s business) off social media? I’d sure love to hear your story.
Have a great week!
— Harry from Keap, Steward-Owner
P.S. Meanwhile...
