Five years ago we stepped away from social media to reclaim our time and presence. This month, Keap appeared on two different podcasts where we got to share more about how things have been going in the years since that decision.
Keap Candles Founder Harry Doull on Off The Grid
In a wide-ranging conversation, our founder Harry and Off the Grid host Amelia Hruby discussed how Harry's background in hospitality helped shape Keap's approach to business and marketing, and explored what a new humane Internet might look like.

Post-Social: A Panel on Growing a Business Without Algorithms
Last fall, we also co-hosted a gathering in NYC for entrepreneurs seeking to reduce their dependence on social media. Keap founder Harry was joined on the panel by Holly Howard (owner of AskHollyHow) and author Lee Tilghman in a conversation moderated by Martha Williams (owner of BreakBreadWorld) on practical ways for businesses to take that step.
We're thrilled that the live recording from the event was just published on Holly's podcast Cultures Within Capitalism.
Much appreciation to Amelia and Off The Grid, and many thanks to all the people who helped make the NYC Panel happen, including our panel members and co-organizers (special shout out to Chris!), event supporters Idealist.org, Lighthouse BK, and Tart.nyc, and all our wonderful attendees who asked great questions and gave us a ton of energy.
