After two delightful weeks off, we're back in the studio with renewed energy and inspiration. And sweat! My goodness it's hot.
Kingston, like much of the Northeast, is experiencing a historic heat wave with Monday and Tuesday marking what appears to be a new all-time high temperature record.
If you've been following us closely the last few years, you know our reworked wax formula withstands heat well. However, subjecting all shipments to these extreme temperatures means a higher likelihood of candles arriving with significant sweating (where oils separate from the wax) or slight melting. While these issues rarely affect performance, they create messy packages and a disappointing unboxing experience. We'd like for you to receive candles in the same pristine condition they leave our studio.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are holding shipments until Thursday, June 26, when temperatures are forecast to drop dramatically. If your order is urgent and this delay causes an issue, please send us a reply, and we'll make sure you're well taken care of.
Since we've clearly fully entered summer, I'd love to hear how you use candles differently in the warmer months. Do you use them at different times of the day or in different rooms?
Happy Pride, and wishing to each and every one of you the opportunity to receive and give love in abundance.
It all starts with love.
